As an appetiser to the ICC Women’s World Cup in June, Teddington will be hosting the best international and domestic cricketers in Bushy Park next week. With a sunny bank holiday forecast Middlesex are playing Warwickshire in the Women’s Royal London One-Day Cup on Monday 29th May. Middlesex batswoman Fran Wilson will represent the best of England’s talents while New Zealand’s Holly Huddleston will be keen to add to her recent 4 wicket haul against Berkshire Women. 11am start, free entry, Teddington Cricket Club.

In 2016 Bushy Park Girls welcomed the Middlesex Women’s team to Teddington Cricket Club with a thrilling game against Somerset Women.  It was a first visit for Middlesex Women and they enjoyed themselves so much they’re back again. There will a barbeque, tea and cakes, bar, sweetshop, raffle, player autographs, Pinkie the Middlesex mascot and his Pavilion with games and prizes.

This is a special opportunity for the girls to be close to their heroes, and we will once again be organising a guard of honour as the players enter the field at 11am. Come down and enjoy the cricketing idyll of Bushy Park on this sunny Bank Holiday, Monday 29th May 2017.
